I have been involved in photography for over 50 years. I was President of the Canberra Photographic Society for eight consecutive years in the 1990s. I joined the Australian Photographic Society (APS) in 1976 and have served it in a variety of capacities, including a term as President. The International Federation of Photographic Art and the APS have both recognised my service.

I'm still a member of the Canberra Photographic Society.

I'm also a member of the Australian Photographic Society.

I have other Websites at http://www.flickr.com/people/brianrope/ and http://brianrope.redbubble.com/.
